Be wary of using other mods, including preloaders. Sometimes they can prevent important functions, such as the customization menu. If you launch the HUD and you see a first-launch tutorial pop-up window saying "WELCOME TO REDUX!", that's a very good sign that the HUD is working! If you've never seen this pop-up ever... oh dear.
If another mod is causing a conflict, it is a good idea to start with an empty custom folder and then experiment to see which mods cause a breakage.
Built on top of the old SolarLightHUD from 2018, REDUX is massively overhauled. Style is back on the menu. Scratch that, all of them. ...Almost all of them.
When in-game, REDUX gets out of your way and lets you focus on the game, especially when using minmode. Yet, it still looks fancier than a typical custom HUD. Even on the "Classic" floating number mode, outlines were added to fonts to make them easier to read in bright scenarios. Items have been cleaned up, with quality names and levels hidden.
This HUD likes to express itself with custom animations. Almost every menu screen has movement, Casual Mode's 3D Models have been replaced with 2D equivalents, and animated textures can be found in some places, such as the Win Panel.
Choose between five HUD layouts from the Customization Menu and make various tweaks, with potentially more options on the way. Some of the options attempt to mimic the old SolarLightHUD while retaining the new graphical style.
Available separately, players can add custom sound and graphics packs to match the theme of the HUD. A download link is available within the Customization Menu.
REDUX started as a minor font and color update, reintroducing TF2's color scheme and adding font outlines. Inspiration was then taken from 'MEME vs. META', creating the various octagonal and glass shapes. The HUD and menus also borrow ideas from other SolarLight videos, as well as the Persona games, Sonic Heroes, Genshin Impact and a few other places.

someone went to great lengths to try and fix the fonts on linux but it seems like it's an issue with the font renderer and may require a TF2 update from valve

It's very cool hud, this intro is awesome

@MiNombreEsNico fonts are bugged on linux, outlines on some elements sized differently than the text (https://imgur.com/a/DE7R4NW). there's a statement about this on the github page. the hud works fine other than that, at least for me.

valve comp mode is available in a currently unfinished branch on github. you can use this if you're desperate to play valve comp, but the menus for it are not completely done and the postgame screen was not fully set up

Really enjoy it, but Comp mode is missing !

I actually really like this HUD with its text, scoreboard, and health/ammo! I do wish that the top 3 scoring players on the team showed up at the end of the round though

tradeup contracts dont work with this hud. also not that i would ever play it but comp is missing

This HUD is nearly perfect and has everything I need! My only two requests would be a streamer mode to hide player info/decals and future Linux support. It would be amazing to see these added! Even if those features don't get added, it's still amazing. I'd strongly recommend it.

I like the look of the mod but for some reason there are certain keys that simply don't work when I try to type them. C, V, P don't work at all when I am playing the game with the hud but work fine with other huds and when not playing TF2.

I really love the look of this HUD, but I'm ngl: it seems like there's a fair few visual errors with it when you're playing the game in 4K

It's that easy to mod a 3DS?

Very nice hud, I like how it modernizes the game while removing some of the bloat from the default hud
