as of right now the trading button is missing, can't que for competitive. I think there should be more options on the HUD options menu and overall the hud is great and i find the trans flag at the left botton corner funny.
But the hud needs the option to que for competitive and the trading button

Honestly one of the best huds I've seen, so sleek and clean looking and the background art for loading screens n whatnot is stellar. Only issue is I can't use my custom crosshairs with it (tho I may just not know how to fix that)

my only problem with it is that after a round it doesnt show your lvl and xp so i cant tell if i leveled up or not. but still it looks great! (also it does wierd things with hammer)

Love this mod, this hud looks absolutely beautiful, however I have gripe with it. Outlines on damage dealt over players. Hideous, pixelated, and I have no idea how to turn them off. I tried to find G_FontDamage and G_FontCritDamage but no luck for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I HAD to leave a comment. Not only is this easily the best HUD on this website, it leaks effort and passion. What an amazing job you've done on this seriously, we all appreciate it so much. I was already blown away by this sleek and modern take on the default tf2 look, but then I saw "HUD Options" and once I saw how much customizability there was my jaw dropped. Absolute masterpiece, 10/10 cannot wait for the updates. I haven't played tf2 in a long time so the only thing is that I'm not sure how to enable transparent viewmodels, do I have to download a mod and then turn it on in the hud? Regardless, this is just chef's kiss.

Please fix/change font for killfeed, friendly names (when looking at or spectating a teammate) and scoreboard. It doesn't support some sings, i.e. Cyrillic alphabet, which makes some usernames invisible.

Sorry to be an annoyance about this but...would there be anyway to personally reverse the removal of long names? As someone with a high frequency of playing mvm that little quirk is what's keeping me from using an otherwise 10/10 hud.

I love this hud! One big problem I'm having right now is on the MvM stuff. The "Mission Complete" won't go away, it doesn't until I either force the game to quit or change server. Other than that, great work!

I can look into switching it back. Easiest way to is to just delete the quickswitch res file in resources.

That is intentional. Too much killstreak display on the base hud. You can still see it in the killfeed and the scoreboard.

So fun fact, the news thing doing that is a stock issue (its an issue in my opinion, it opens every single time you disconnect from a server). I'll see what I can do to mitigate it.

I'll make sure to have it all lowercase by default in the future to make sure no one runs into that issue again.

thank you, renaming the hud folder to be all lowercased fixed the issue for me. from what i recall, its probably since file locations are case sensitive on linux.

i tried to use it without any other custom files at all (i use mastercomfig and explosion smoke remover script), but it still doesnt work. same story with flawhud, i have a question tho. im using legacy opengl usually, could that be related to the issue?

well it basically just booted up as default hud, like it was never there. also your hud is not the only one acting like that, flawhud for example also didnt work, only budhud did. i just today switched to fedora though, so i will try it again and see if it is fixed

When you say it doesn't work on Linux Mint, what specifically does not work. I have had people tell me this works on Linux, so I am just trying to determine outliers.

im using linux mint 22 with 6.14.0-33-generic kernel and asus tuf gaming a17 laptop if this helps with troubleshooting

This is actually my favorite hud on this site! I absolutely love it!
I hope you continue doing more work because its really spectacular.
However may I only suggest only one thing and that is an xp counter for casual rank. It would be nice to know how much xp would be needed to level up :)

I love how it both sticks to the vanilla tf2 feeling.
It's like a modernised version of the vanilla hud that I am 100% gonna use.
